Automation of AAR and draft financial statements
The Education & Skills Funding Agency has developed automation technology to help reduce the burden of submitting your financial information.
This technology enables you to submit your trial balance data directly from Finance Portal to the DfE where it is used to pre-populate 80% of your AAR and the trial balance information needed for the trust's financial statements.
Making Tax Digital
All VAT-registered businesses with a taxable turnover above the VAT registration threshold are required to submit their VAT returns using an approved app.
MTD automates the submission of VAT returns. Submitting your VAT return directly to HMRC - a clear benefit to both you and HMRC.
